The Department of Patents, Designs and Trademarks (DPDT) administers all matters surrounding patent, industrial design, trademark and copyrights in Bangladesh.

The mission of DMP is the observance of the rule of law to reduce abuses of authority, equitable access to justice and transparency along with effective accountability both at individual and institutional level.
