Business Description

The university came into being in 1987 in the name of University of Khulna; and the Khulna University Act was passed in the Bangladesh National Parliament in July 1990.[3] Accordingly the University started its journey through the inauguration of academic activities with only 80 students in four Disciplines on 25 November 1991. Khulna University bears a distinct significance due to its location in a divisional headquarters, which is the third largest metropolitan city of Bangladesh. The Mongla Port and the Khalishpur Naval Base are also located in Khulna.
